Steve I use a 47mm XL with the Chamonix 45-n2 and the setup is front standard in the second from back hole and the back standard all the way forward with 15mm recessed board but you can use a flat...
The Chamonix front tilt can applied without undoing the knobs, it's designed that way.

As Steve says you will have movement beyond your 75mm lens image circle even on a flat board.

Don't waist your cash Jamie it works fine with no problems with a bit of tape.

Jamie,
Same with mine, I just use two or three layers of Ali tape on edge of the film back that line up with the Chamonix locks. It's worked just fine, nice tight fit the locks grip the tape well...
I've had most of the spot meters that have been available over the years including both the Pentax ones but lost them all.
The meter I'm using now is the Starlight 2 and although I didn't like it a...
I'm using a 47mm XL on the 1&2n cameras on problem, flat board on the 1n and a 15mm recessed one on the 2n.
The universal bellows allow a little front rise and or tilt, remember the 47mm XL has not...
I quite like the thought of sheet film ceasing production, I would coat my own and it would make my prints more unique.

I can use a 47XL on 45-n1 & 2 with no problems at all but do use an Ebony screen plus a WA fresnel for 90mm and wider, much easer to view and focus.
JON.
I just use a 28" square piece of painted 1/4" ply covered with black poly from a paper bag, I use it on the corner of the sink and store it under the sink.
Works fine for me.

With a some luck you may not pay anything, I know lot of people that have not paid any duty/VAT when importing Chamonix cameras from China.
You may well be lucky.

I've used them all over the years and IMO the KAISER PROMASK is my choice without any
doubt.
JON.
I can recommend the Secol 4x5 individual sleeves from Silverprint.
JON.
Yes I use their App with all my times and and data programmed in and saved.
It's the best process timer I've ever used, used it since it came out, I wrap the phone in cling film when when using it...
Not from the ebay shop but direct from Hugo at Chamonix, yes it has a universal back.
Eddie, customs?????

Got my one last Thursday, the n1 is a great tool but the n2 is an improvement.
Out with the new one yesterday put 12 sheets and a roll of 120 through it, a pleasure
to use.

I find it's easier and better for to make up some thin card masks.
Cut the format of choice on screen sized piece of card and clip on to the rear glass or you could secure with Blue Tac.
I works...
I broke the GG on one of my Chamonix cameras and fitted one off my Ebony, works
well but not that bright though more contrast and much easier to focus.
Now got two more Ebony screens on order.
JON
Ken,
Did you load a sheet of film in holder when you took your measurements?
JON.
I think you must be unlucky.
I've been been using 4x5 cameras for decades and are now using two Chamonix cameras and I think they are the best all round 4x5 available on the market today.
No...
Hi,
The U/bellows really are a great help with using movement even with
a 90mm lens.
JON
Hi,
This my first post, sorry I'm a lurker there.
I fancy a new 135 lens for 4x5, what would you recommend Fujinon or Rodenstock?
Regards JON.
