The answer is very simple: Zeiss Dagor F9 21cm and 24cm. Also, a very good 210mm for 8x10 is the 210/5,6 Wollensak Pro Raptar.

Eizo ColorEdge has 12bit/channel (look-up table) and 16-bit internal processing for grayscale rendering. For black and white photography this make a huge difference.

Unlike Apple (8 bit/channel) Eizo has 12 bit/channel. This is a huge difference which was easily seen when I compared my EIZO CG241W with a regular good monitor (Apple).

I develop my 8x10 TMAX400 by inspection in Pyrochat HD, 1:1:100 / 72F / 15-22 min.
For scanning I found this combination to be perfect.

I use this lens for enlarging 5x7. Is the Best. If you can buy one keep it forever. Don't forget the Zeiss Topogon 180mm.
The last model cover 5x7 at f11.
