I have a 3200 and got it and Epson Scan software to work on Windows 7 by a well known trick using the 4990 drivers.
I believe the same trick will work with Windows 8, not sure...
That type of connector is called a bi-post so you will need a bi-post to whatever your flash is.
Paramount cables will have or make what you need, here is a link to their custom cables section...

There should be a small white knurled head plastic screw underneath the lift near the drain hose.
Remove this screw and the lift should lift up from the lift base plate.

And, 'The Third Man' by Orson Welles; great lighting in that one also.
I bought one at a local auction a couple of years ago, I was the only bidder at $25.
The auctioneer said he did not know what it was for, started at $50, dropped to $25 so I put my hand up.

A Unicolor 8x10 tank and motor base can be found quite cheap if you are patient.
Other than that the cheapest might be to make light proof tubes out of PVC, search for how on Google.
As far as I know Unicolor was just one of the names used by the Beseler company, so they are the same thing with a different name.
Just make sure the drum has the ridges inside to hold 4x5.

There are some on eBay right now.
I think they come from China.
I have no idea of the quality or ever used one from eBay.
