I used to own one of these. It's nice because there are geared front swing and tilt. The bad thing about these cameras is that the shutter is super super finicky. I had mine rebuilt by Ken Ruth at...

AFAIK, most one hour places don't have the right reels to process 120. Why would they? If you are running the photo lab at the local Rite Aid, why would you try and convince your boss to buy that...
Errr....That's a false statement.
Sure, Jack. Indeed I was looking at the Glossy version. It has a more plasticky feel to it than FB paper. When I laid it next to 10 prints made on various traditional papers, the difference was...
Yeah, it's hard to quantify, Jim. But it definitely does not feel like a FB silver gelatin print. The surface is worlds apart from that. But it does take the ink nicely.
I did some tests on this paper and I have to say I disagree with the OP very strongly. This paper doesn't even come close to having the "feel" or surface quality of a good air dried glossy FB print....
Does anyone know why it's necessary to use silver plated copper as opposed to say, silver plated aluminum? A cheaper base metal plate?

My ex gf's breasts. Never got tired of that particular still life.
Shoot with a yellow filter. It will improve contrast and overall sharpness in my experience.

I don't believe they are still active. I have several of their newsletters bound into a hardback book. They were led by Ed Romney (I believe that was name) who published some Graflex repair books and...
I really like the color one.
Two of mine are painted black, the other, larger one is silver. I've never had any problems with flare or anything like that and I shoot pretty large diameter brass lenses outside almost every day.
...
Thanks! But I don't really shoot models.

Yah, I think it just stunned him a little.
Kodak Master View. Affordable, versatile, and tough. I once hit a rather aggressive heroin dealer in the head with mine in the Tenderloin district of San Francisco one foggy evening.

I've got a graflex lensboard that someone has welded a short tube with threads on the front that match up with Aero Ektar. Adds some weight, but it's easy. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to...

The other one! 8x10 Self Portrait with Child. Bulb release squeezed with right foot.
Well, the Readyload accounted for about 10% of film shot that day, so I wasn't relying heavily on it and I've never failed someone paying for my services yet. Different photographers shoot in...
Not unless you have to pay for that painting to go to school for 17 years.
Nice photo, Frank.
I guess I'm just not a pro like you, dude.
Had a big time paying gig. Bought two brand new Kodak Readyload holders and 4 boxes of Kodak film. Between me and the two assistants (both very experienced with Readyloads), a 40% failure rate. Which...
Yeah, I wasn't too thrilled with the situation, either. But still, I've got a lot of brass lenses and there's always a really special one buried in there somewhere.

Really nice, Hollis. The Aviar has always been an underrated lens IMHO. I love using them on my Graflex SLR's.

No,dude, that shit is awesome!
275mm f3 Brass lens shot,ahem, wide f'in open.
No joke! Take some Geritol and it'll get better!

Well,shit!
I really was hoping the cost of living would be marginally better than SF.
I'm used to living in the Bay area, where I can use SFAI darkrooms for 10/hr and print color or black and white and process my b&w film there for $5 per session, as many rolls/sheets as I want. I get...
Benno,
Yep.

Twilight or overcast skies or bedrooms. Neutral density or yellow filters. 100 asa film. A flick of the wrist and a one stop pull.
Hi Ole,
Well, I don't have the lens anymore. I remember that it was a Suter Rapidaplanat, and that I eyeballed the focal length to be around 275mm. All the pictures I posted at that time, I said...
8x10. I don't know anything about the lens except that I liked how things looked through it.
