I was wondering if the processed negatives were put back into the camera and light from behind might it have been possible to use it as a colour projector as well as a camera?

I met someone today with a Wooden Box like Camera made by J Lizars Challenge Glasgow, London With 3 brass lenses (1 centrally placed on top 2 on the bottom) looks like it might have a 1/2 plate...

Like tgtaylor i would be inclined to think that the D is probably for Demo, or a means for nikon to identify a certain lens internally within the company that might have been out on loan or test.

At least now i know i have enough coverage and if i feel its too wide on 11x14 i can always use it on my 8x10.

Will a 305mm G Claron cover a full length portrait on an 11x14 camera?

Want to shoot at f16 or f22 and include some background environment with a fast enough aperture to allow 1/15th or 1/30th sec...

Only one cell has this marking, I assume its the front outer one.
Although both lenses appear to be same focal length and same mounting thread size.

I have botched it up to the 10 x 8...

Hopefully someone here can help me identify this lense the only writing i can find is
Zeiss Patent 14 IN also the number 10964 which i assume is a serial number.

Mine takes a 67 mm Filter, but I believe there was a different version with a larger front filter.

Larger Filter version may be an earlier lens !!
