I use a combi plan with pmk pyro, but not fp4, and have not had the trouble you describe.

The value in these would be in using them. With a little TLC it looks most everything is there to start shooting and printing 4x5.

When I had the room I used my D2 for all the mf and bigger, and next to it had a focomat for 35. If space is not an issue it makes sense to have machines set up for different tasks.
