A bit of DIY once again without the inflated cost ;)
Hi Ash....here's my idea of the perfect flash to use either with a Razzle or whatever.
I utilised a cheaply priced paint roller boom handle....it extends to 3.6 meters, is lightweight and simple. I...
This feels just like Christmas morning....:p
I cannot explain this, but every time this fellow goes on a rant :D my email server goes bananas.

Blimey I could stumble around in Wales forever........I am a...
Before anyone misses the point here :) the MOST important thing to remember is that a great photo firstly emanates from the photographer's eye, then secondly, from the skill and experience...
I guess the ideal 4x5 has yet to be invented.....I have owned and used a Master Tech, Speed Graphic, Bush Pressman, many monorails, and a couple of wooden field cameras. Having the best that all...
Hi Chris....I have this latest idea in my head.....in two weeks I'm trialing a 210 Sironar N in a Copal 1 fitted to a 900 with an extended back  Hopefully I can get enough rack to go from...
Don't worry guys, I'm sitting here dumfounded at the size of this list. Chris, I certainly didn't expect to see you on here....but thanks for the encouragement.

But one stayed home :p That's right....tomorrow will see three of these little piggies flying out. One is off to California, one is off to Wiltshire and the third one is bound for Norway.

Episode 19 is finally here!....Blue Bart and Black Ash. Barts camera is very near completion with only a little finishing off and testing left to do. Bart wanted a bright blue camera and here it...
Ash, you should try this ERA 4x5 sheet film from Isaac Chen...I really like it, especially at ten bucks a box of 25 sheets. Ebay item 110161827765. I use Ilford HC developer for 6 minutes, gently...
Think I'll just dwell on this statement.......:( 'The gear here for sale is used and shows scratches and signs of wear on the body'.....probably a lot of scratches and lots of wear.

I just scanned the four negs on my Epson 4780 flatbed. Now remember that it was a dull Melbourne day :o
1. I guessed the exposure.
2. I decided on f8, so DOF is quite shallow.
3. Film used is...
The first four negs right out of the camera are drying as I speak....so tomorrow, after a quick scan, will be episode 18....the results.

Episode fourteen sees the fitting of a cable release socket to the left side of the camera body. This allows the right hand free to actuate the focus wheel. :)
Ash, your camera is very close to completion....I just had to manufacture a few more roll film back adapters and source Bart's blue bag. :D
The next episode will screen shortly........
Hi Bart....there's still time to replace the dull grey leatherette on your camera with that of nice blue? Would you prefer a light or dark blue 'Cookie Monster'?

Well, the Littman is simply a combination of the 110B and a Horseman 4x5 back....whereas Ash's camera is a 900 fitted with a 4x5 Razzlok back of my own design. It also features a newly designed front...
