I know it happens and I have cleaned mine using citric acid diluted in the water. Also used Alka Seltzer tablets with success. Scrubbing out afterward helps a lot.

If using the tungsten lighting you might need to match the 3200K film to the artwork being photographed. Fuji and Kodak copy tungsten films give different results with oils, pastels and watercolors...

Was interested but the RC thing is a real downer. No one printing fine work uses RC papers because they just.......... don't........... last. Why invite trouble by letting this plastic junk in?
You are not toning. Tintype has been done by wet plate photographers for years on real tin, not faked.
Why not admit it, you are coloring the pictures, not toning.

What is the decision on RC prints? I am not interested if RC is an option.
