Wow. I just read through this thread in complete amazement. There are a few solid suggestions here and the rest is mostly bull crap without any objective testing / knowledge/ experience behind it....

For me it is #1 though I could certainly make due with just one lens.
I carry 4 lenses with my 4x5 kit. 90, 150, 210, 300. Wide, normal, long, longer. I figure that if I can't do it with one of...
Those are really nice if they still have good septums. Some people swear by them. They hold 6 sheets by the way.
SLIGHTLY off topic... but knowing we have the same camera I would caution one other thing to watch for with film holders. Once you close the bail arm on the camera with a film holder inserted there...
That was my favorite as well! =P
I hadn't noticed the first one had been moved, Ken. Thanks for fixing that.
And you're welcome. =)
Part 2 is up.

A new video with Kim Weston, John Sexton and Randy Efros reminiscing about their experiences with Brett Weston. This is a much watch for any fan of Brett. Apparently there will be two more...
I got some good suggestions in this thread back in June.

Kirk,
I also found I was getting slightly over developed corners when using my slosher tray from Photographer's Formulary.
I bought 4 of these wire baskets at T.J. Maxx last night for a total of...
I thoroughly enjoyed Merg's interview, in fact I listened to it twice. It's part musings from a working artist and part history, a fantastic interview.
I also struggled getting consistent results using this method with Pyrocat and FP4+, Tri-X, BPF200 and J&C Pro100. I eventually gave up and moved on to other developing methods. I know consistent...
Toyo makes a 12mm recessed board and used to make a 25mm recessed board. I have both. My Nikkor SW 90mm f4.5 lives in the 12mm recessed version and makes using movements a little easier than it...
Hiked my Toyo up Skunk Run in McConnells Mill on July 4th and 7th. Taking a break from printing right now.

It changes my sleep schedule! I try to develop film in the very early morning. I cool my distilled water stop and fixer in the freezer... run the ac... the same for printing but I do less printing...
Merg,
Thank you! I appreciate that very much. I will check my library, I also found it fairly reasonable on Amazon. (I was specifically hoping that you and Kirk would check in. =) Thanks again,...
Well you can consider one sold to this photographer!
Shawn
Thanks, Kirk. I'll be sure to check them out!
In the meantime, why don't YOU put together a nice how to book focusing on us LF film photographers? =P
Thanks again.
Shawn
Does anyone have a recommendation for a good Interior Architectural Photography Resource? A good book, website, pdf?
I having been using a view camera since 2004. I know the basics, I have Steve...
As far as 4x5 goes, probably f32 with my 150mm, 210mm & 300mm lenses although I'll use f22-f64 as required. Probably f22 with my 90mm although I'll use f16-f45 as required.
That's gorgeous, Ken!
Awesome news!
FINALLY thought to e-mail subscribe to this thread (although when I forget it catching up is extra fun =).
Wow. I've never had a bad deal here or on APUG... I know personally, or once removed, most of the people I've done business with. I always give my full name, address, cell phone number etc once a...

Kirk,
I couldn't ask for advice from a better source!
I'm at the point, however, where I have 4 solid lenses to use, which I can actually see through indoors ;) . Now I simply need to make some...
Thank you, John! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. (The website is still a little messy, I'm not a big fan of that sort of work... =)
Thanks, Frank! As you may have guessed... both were made with the 210mm. =P
After much research and some great advice here via PM, e-mail and in person I finally finished putting my 'kit for interiors' together. Doubling up on the same lenses with different max apertures...
Thanks, Gem, that is the e-mail I used... Of course this much praise happens for a reason and I will certainly give him another shot the next time I need something.
I've heard wonderful things about, Jim. I bought my Ries tripod from Midwest and a couple of accessories but I've never been able to reach, Jim. When I was looking for a 300mm Fujinon C I called...
My widest lens for 4x5 is a 90mm. I've never been in a situation in the landscape where I thought "I wish I had something wider". However, after seeking out images made by others with a 75mm I...
Thanks for taking the lead on this, Kirk! Sounds fantastic.
Shawn
Glad I could chip in Steve. Hoping this is the most successful yet!

Finished it last night. I can't say enough about the personal pictures, especially those of an older Brett photographing around Hawaii! =D This is a must have for any Brett fan/collector.
I'm only half way through (kinda savoring it, would be easy to read in one sitting!). It's a different take on what I've read about Brett so far. The personal photographs are fantastic and the...
It wasn't MagCloud, it was printed by Edition One Books. I didn't see it on their website but I didn't look very hard. I had a hell of a time finding it. I got mine from some little gallery in...
Just got my hands on a copy today. Great stuff so far, the book is presented in interview format by Rebecca A Senf, Ph.D. It seems to be painting a slightly different picture of Brett than I have...
=) Great news.
