    Re: Website design

I'm an Indexhibit user as well. It's simple, it's easy to use, it's well just great. The photos speak for themselves.

PS: was just going to also recommend Dalton's theme and say he's a great...

Re: Canson Plantine 310gsm Not Happy

Yeah, I'm going to echo the sample pack suggestions. Never buy a paper you've never personally printed on and held.

Been a while since I've been here, had a nice time catching up. Here are some rough cuts from my current project, can't wait to see em at 24x30

  5. Re: Fujifilm Pro 160S 4x5" Professional Color Negative (Print) Film

Yeah, really too bad. I was lucky enough to snag 100 sheets of 160S a couple months ago. When that's gone it'll be Portra 160NC, which I'm quite fond of (but not as much as 160S, my favorite film).

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

Hey guys. I've been hard at work with my thesis and thus haven't had much time lately to post images here (I have a Fall progress review on Friday, wish me good luck!). Thankfully I have had a couple...

    Re: Graphics Tablet

Wacom tablets are amazing - you wont regret it at all. I would recommend the Intuos 3 (used) or Intuos 4 (used/new). In my experience, the small size (about 4x6) is enough for photographic work, but...

    Re: Large Format Landscapes

My modest contribution. I'm really more of an urban shooter, but I wanted to shoot some BW and get back in the darkroom so I've been trying to get my feet on top of some dirt.

Re: Presenting LF photos in Internet. How?

Is it too late to pitch my two cents on this issue?

I came across this topic after searching the forum for "watermarks." I searched this because I've seen many images on this forum emblazoned with...

    Re: post your urban landscapes

My kind of thread. Here are two images from my first outing with the new 4x5. Shen-Hao 4x5, SK Technika Super Angulon 90mm f/8 at f/32 (I believe, don't have my notes with me), Ektar 100 rated at ISO...

    New Portlander

Howdy all, been cruising these boards for quite some time now but I'm slowly starting to post as I begin shooting more LF. Just put together a simple little Shen-Hao 4x5 field kit. I'm an early-20s...

Re: Emerging Student Majoring in Photography

I'd be wary of "shooting whatever to make income." That's an easy way to disillusion yourself from photography and lose your love for it. Be careful what you wish for when you set your sights on...

    Re: New guy scanner question.

Seconding Citizen's - I now use them exclusively since in the last year I've shot a lot more slide film and now am just getting into 4x5 (dirt cheap processing.. 2.15/neg 2.25/slide I believe for 4x5...
