That was great paper.
Certainly the top of my list of missed products.
I went yesterday with my daughter. It is an amazing exhibit of great Pictorialist photos.
Loved it.
For all Large Format, a Pentax digital spot meter, Zone VI modified, that I've had forever.
Now looking for a nice Weston or maybe LunaPro to use with newly acquired Zeiss 6x9 folder.
I got a Monopod - CM-1471 in May.
Like it so much, I'll be buying one of their tripods soon.
I bought from Kerry Thallman at http://reallybigcameras.com
Excellent service - got it in just a...
"Landscape" is one of my favorite photo books, period.
Dave,
Thanks for the glass and your hard work.
All the best to you,
Tom
I've had a 4x5 Maxwell on one of my cameras for about 5 years. It was a pretty big chunk of money, but I've never regretted it. It's wonderful.
That being said, I have glass from both Dave Parker...
Dave,
Great to hear you're back and working again.
Our thoughts are with you and your family.
Warmest Regards,
Tom
Dave,
So very sorry to hear this awful news.
Obviously, the glass can wait.
Tom
I'm about to buy one of these for myself. For those times when LF isn't handy. Fits in a pocket, Leica glass, shoots RAW, not horribly expensive.....a lot to love.

I've bought a lot of Hasselblad equipment from KEH - most of it Bargain - and was always very happy with what I got.
Jim at Midwest is an amazing person to deal with. Always fair and helpful.
Can't...
I have both. The Room is fine. The location of the sleeves doesn't bother me. It doesn't fold up as small as the Tent and it is very easy to set up, etc.
I use the Tent for 8x10 because it has a lot...
Give them a call. I've dealt with them over the phone several times and they are extremely helpful.
Years ago, I won a Turner-Reich Triple Convertible lens on eBay. Steve Grimes was the seller. He had rebuilt it and I've used it exclusively for all my 4x5 and 5x7 work since.
Ries Tripods and...
Sorry, that should read "don't see any reason to NOT continue with it" and then not spend the big buck for another Maxwell.
Satin Snow does a great job for a great price.
Tom
I use a Maxwell on my 4x5 and absolutely love it.
For 5x7, I decided to try the Satin Snow - couldn't resist the price.
Since I've been using it, I haven't had any problems and don't see any...
Rob,
I use a J-100 with the J-250 head for my 8x10 Deardorff and have no problems. It's stable and the weight is reasonable.
Tom
Number one
I carry one lens for 4x5 - a triple convertible with focal lengths: 8 1/2 in 14 in 19 in
For 8x10 - two lenses (Both Red Dot Artars) - 450mm & 600mm
