I'll echo Michael's reply. I have a 305 G Claron and can confirm it takes a 67mm filter, as do most of my lenses. I don't use it a lot, but I'm glad when I need it.
I've been to Zion twice late Oct/early Nov. Especially after the trams stop running, it's as if the entire park is yours before 9 a.m. or so.
I'll also vote for A&I. They almost always provide a 3 hour turnaround time on 4x5 transparencies no matter how many I bring in.
Crowds won't be a problem but the road to Glacier Point is frequently closed that early. You can hike up the switchbacks to get there if you want to invest half a day or so.
