Love the composition and tones. Superb image.
Nice images Daniel.
Well you won't be disappointed in Quality Light Metric's service. The turnaround is pretty fast.
Another vote for the Pentax Digital Spotmeter, very reliable and affordable.
Lovely image Ken.
Thank you for the info John and again, a very engaging image.
Outstanding image John. At f/45 did the Super Angulon 90xl cover the format fully?
Superb work Daniel and wonderful images on your website.
Superb plates. A while back I saw a photograph of Haas with a huge camera of similar proportions to yours on the Xitek forums. Couldn't find any info about the camera on the Chamonix website. Glad to...
Gorgeous camera. Enjoy. :)
Congrats.........:)
Thanks for the info Eric.
Chamonix 8x10

Love the composition and tones Peter.
I liked your original scan but Lenny's is fantastic. :)
Thanks for sharing. Good to see other work-flows. I like the use of a grid for film alignment.
Either George Milton at Quality Light Metric in Los Angeles or Richard Ritter lg4mat.
Thanks Eddie. Enjoyed the video and also looking at Hugo's 16x20, what a beast. :)
Thank You. :)
^^ Ditto.
Absolutely gorgeous photograph Harley.
What an introduction. :) Welcome and enjoy the camera.
Yup, very slight hum but it's not as bad as the spotmeter underexposing by 2/3 of a stop.:) Other than that pretty decent meter.
Thank you Robert.
Lovely image Robert. Out of curiosity, did you use incident or spot on the Sekonic? If spot, did you find the Sekonic spot reading a bit high?
ExifTool will do the job.
Here is a Windows GUI version.
Wow Tim, a lot of testing obviously, your efforts are appreciated by all. The use of the 80x stereo microscope was helpful with showing absolute film resolution and I'm sure us 8x10 and other Large...
Well I'll add to the wow's Zaitz. Wow!! ......... Compelling image.
There are instructions for DIY glass on Steve Hopf's website here.
Thanks. Looks interesting. Convenient layout.
Indeed :)
I don't think it's an inability Tim. Lula constructed a test to show that the IQ80 was better than 8x10 film scanned at 745dpi . To add insult to injury they equated f/32 on 8x10 to f/16 on...

Also give Photo Mechanic a try :) .
Steve Simmons posted a Zoning article some time ago here. The Sekonic L-608 was used but the technique can be applied to the L-508.
Hope it helps.
