Thanks for clarifying. I guess things got jumbled: they are also selling "quickload-type" film (not the polaroid type) in 5-sheet boxes with prices for the boxes running about $40-60 per 5-sheet...
Yes, hard to figure out how film costing about $1.25 in 100 sheet boxes becomes $8.50. I appreciate this is the only game in town and they are not "making it up on volume", but that's a serious...
When you say you loaded 12 sheets into holders, are you speaking about the "Quickloads"? Or are you speaking about "bulk" film in boxes? If Quickloads, why do you have to load them into holders...

I think I remember a thread from a few years ago by someone who was going to manufacture a "system", but I don't think that ever went to fruition. I suspect this is something devoutly to be wished. ...
I see New55 now has pre-loaded various "name brand" films available in 5 packs as well (http://shop.new55.net/collections/all/products/1shot?variant=1194818235). What interests me is the statement...
Congratulations, always nice to see a new gallery opening and show, esp. one of our members

Frank,
I have the leather holster one, and it is marked inside with John Sexton's name and info, therefore it's even more accurate and takes better pictures than yours! Plus it makes it look like...
Someone on, I think, APUG said they found a 100-ft roll of 35mm Tri X with a sticker of $17.xx

I think you can find it at the MagCloud website- pretty sure it was "printed" and sold from there.
My understanding is that SF will allow you to use it with either (or maybe both) Mac OS and Windows. The reason I couldn't run it under XP via Parallels is that the emulator can't handle firewire...
Kirk,
I'm with you on the upgrade. Maybe not your cup of tea, but I put OS 6.x on a cheap external hard drive, and run SF 6 from that.

I asked the same question months ago, never got a good answer. But I gather japan exposures.com still is selling it, and they had told me it was still in production. I'm just not ready to pay...
Katherine Ware, Curator of Photography at the New Mexico Museum of Art, will be speaking in Phoenix next Wednesday night (Feb. 22nd), on "The Ten Most Exciting Photographers I Learned About the Last...
The complete package (with Optix XR Pro Colorimeter) for sale in the Classifieds, I bought from Chromix :)
I thought it did a good job- too late schmart?
Lenny,
+1. I have the same 27" NEC (with MBP 2010) and it's great- get the calibration device unit. You'll need to buy an adapter from Apple for about $100 to use with MBP (and maybe others).

Can't be- I got it from the internet!
As the Romans said re. reorganizations in 210bc:

I have the paper version, and think $9.99 would be a bargain and well-worth it (since I paid about $25).
Chris Crawford has some good information on his website re. this with Vuescan (http://chriscrawfordphoto.com/technical/scanning), and he says what you seem to be getting is what he gets; I get the...
Michael Gordon has a LF workshop- Intro to LF Photography- coming up in April in the Alabama Hills. I had taken one of these, and it is an excellent workshop. See his website (michael-gordon.com)...
I'd be interested in 2-5 boxes Acros 4x5 QL, dep. on cost
Haha. Thanks Ken. It's how I run my real software business. If I didn't I wouldn't be able to afford LF![/QUOTE]
Too bad you don't run most of the software companies I have to deal with.... :)
Thanks for your continuing interest in keeping your product current and useful!
I can view neither New Posts or Unified View on my iPhone 4 or iPad. Clearing History does nothing; I'm not going to clear my cache and lose signins every time I want to view LFF.
Between this...
But Tempe Camera still is here, and has a decent supply of film (probably helped by ASU students). They've actually increased their overall stock since Photomark, as we knew it, left.
Bob,
thanks for the reference. Any idea why the Green and Yellow-Green filters are discontinued? Just not selling, or...?
Thanks,
Rick
I downloaded it yesterday afternoon (Safari) without any problem, it opens fine, then you select an image from the File menu using Open or Open Recent. I've not processed anything yet, but the "work...
Unified View and New Posts both now working! Hope it stays up this time.
Very appropriate venue for your exhibit- wish I could join you, but a bridge too far :)
Best wishes!
Neither working now
New Posts not working for me, but Unified View works.

Same here- first printer I've used and not had "issues" with.
My 4x5 arrived today- nicely designed and executed!
Anything further on antistatic bags (for 4x5 specifically)?
