I like the first one with the basketball hoop. Looks like something from Napolean Dynamite!

Thanks for the comment Jon!

I like the first one and how you cleverly blocked out the sun with the human.

Thanks a lot Martin.
These are excellent as well Austin! Hope to make it back there some day. There is more to explore there.
Thankyou Bernard for the recommendation/advice.
Here is the other one. I double posted one.244919
These are great! I was also lost out there last spring. I was looking for the cracked eggs and got terribly lost the first day. I found them the second day. Maybe we covered some of the same ground....
Wonderful! 11x14 is impressive. I saw some of your 5x7 contact prints in the Arcata square a while back. They looked great. Old stomping grounds. Humboldt Grad in Forestry 1978-1984. Keep posting...
Thanks Martin, Yes it was definitely a right after the storm event!

For your medium format (Assuming Mamiya 7 with 43mm) this is what I have done and it came out good. I was looking for everything in focus for landscapes. Don't know if that is your application....
I just recieved a Burton Zoom Pack 26L yesterday and am configuring the gear out. I got it from Backcountry.com for $123. I took out all but one of the velcro separaters inside the main compartment....
Thanks for your insight Frank.
Mr Petronio, I was curious about your statement, " I would have shot negatives instead of chromes". I was wondering what your thinking was on that. Thanks a lot.
It's not large format, but got a HoyaR72 67mm infrared filter for my medium format in mint condition for only $20. Thought that was a pretty good deal.
I have a chamonix 045n2 and am really interested in the 6x12 format. Just wondering what folks think about these two options. The Chamonix half frame dark slide isn't too expensive (about $50) and...
I had the same problem and asked about it in an earlier post and the best responses were that if the bellows was "in the way" you would see it on the ground glass either all the way open or more...
I'm not sure how to get the photo up on the thread. I guess you will have to hit Patricks Point.jpg.
Here is my first 4x5 image that I thought worth scanning after about 30 shots total ever in 4x5. Still learning. Patricks Point, Northern California. Chamonix 045n2, Rodenstock 135mm Sironar N, ...
Thanks for the responses. It makes sense now. Jim
I have a Chamonix 045n2 (first LF camera) and have only taken about 30 shots. I noticed when removing the back to change to portrait that the inside of the bellows flops over the top of the rear...
I also have had the Chamonix for a couple of months and have a 135mm and 200mm lens. I use the second hole out for the 135 and the third hole out for the 200. Just by trial and error. This seems to...
Yes, I will try to make something work with the ground glass protector. I guess if you are a new purchaser of the 045n2 I would recommend noting the position of ground glass protector and consider...
