Actually Fuji just relabeled it Fuji 160NS and stopped importing it. Its out there in other markets. The problem is the yen strength vs. the dollar, its 40 percent higher than it was 3 years ago. ...
If the lens has a Waterhouse slot, what about sticking the ND filters in there?

Never lost anything while shooting, my worst disaster was dropping a filter case in a river and watching it float away.
Forgetting things to take with me, plenty. Recently for a early morning...
Berlebach actually has leg locks that can be retrofitted onto any existing tripod. The kit costs 99 Euros as I recall. I ordered and installed them in about 2o minutes. They weren't posted on...
Rory,
In a word.........WOW. Very nice.

As a born and raised Chicagoian, my family used to always vacation in Wisconsin (of course Door County). We were always warned to be cautious of the Wisconsin State Police they were known to prey...
For 4x5 an easy choice my 125mm Fuji CMW.
For 8x10 my GD 14in. Kern Dagor.

I don't have an Iphone, but a windows mobile phone and I think it works great. I only wish it had the unified view, I do miss that.

Perfluorooctanesulfonic acid is bad news stuff, you really want to avoid it. Was used heavily in the semiconductor industry until about 10 years ago, but they have mostly phased it out.
Currently...
I have one and I can assure you it is far from a bad lens. I love mine. Tomorrow I will find a few shots and post them.

Thank you all for the great information. I spent some more time reading through the books I have and managed to convince my friend that Annapurna and Gokyo Ri wouldn't be such a great idea. My...
I have been fortunate enough to have been invited by a friend to trek for 4 weeks in Nepal later this year. We are going to do the classic Everest Base Camp & Gokyo Ri trek and probably hike the...
I have a 60mm adapter ring as well as a 67mm BW filter on mine and both fit perfectly. Are you sure the threads haven't been damaged in someway?
Blumine
In no particular order for hiking or what ever.

The Fuji 600mm T takes 67mm filters is in a copal 1 shutter and requires 380mm of bellows. It is a fairly heavy lens but it works very very well.
The Nikon telephotos are good too, but I have...
I am in.
Thanks Darr.

There is nothing on any of the Fuji Film Japan websites or any of the Japanese photo magazines about the demise of quickloads. So this might only apply to the UK.

Yeah, I have had many a day like the one you are describing......................usually I call them Monday. They never go right for me regardless of what I am doing.

I will be heading to a couple of very dark sky sites in the next few weeks. The magnitude at zenith is said to be at least 6 if not 7. So its about as dark as you can get. I want to try to hand at...
Jan,
What are you processes are you printing in? I just delivered 100 sheets of Efke 100 and will print in Platinum.

I have been using Opera for over 10 years and I am using it now. I have never had any problems on this site or photo.net. Not sure why you are having problems, but this site has always worked well...
The 600T is a good long lens for 4x5, but it won't cover 8x10. The 600C covers up to 20x24.

Personally, I don't think that the way the image is presented is either graphic nor offensive. That said, I don't think I would want that on my top page either.

Try a Fuji 360mm CMW or the late model NW with the all black copal shutter they are as sharp as the Schneiders if not more so. You could also try one of the late model 14 inch Schneider GD dagors. I...
Does anyone happened to know the size of the rear element of Schneider 210mm Super Symmar XL? And is it threaded to accept filters?
I am thinking about buying one of these for use on my 11x14 and...
Richard is a great person to deal with. I had him repair an old Kodak 8x10 I had a number of years ago. The camera came back much better than I had expected and I continue to use it to this day.

I have an XVa, as well as Fuji 300C, 450C and 600C. Honestly, I find it hard to tell the difference between the 450C/600C and the XVa. But the XVa has better color rendition to me. The Fuji 300C...
I have both the Fuji 75mm and the Schneider 72mm XL. They are both great lenses, but I tend to grab the Schneider first. At least with my copy, the Schneider seems a little warmer and the Fuji a...
The 240A probably weights about the much, but not the 250mm. I wonder if they are making a mistake between the two.
Blumine
My CMW weighs in at 522grams. The old W version I had is black copal is 537grams, according to my cheap scale.

I knew about the Fujina 250mm F/4.5 but didnt include it.
As far as I know, they did make a 240mm enlarging lens, but not a 250mm. Though I will check.
Blumine
Actually there are 5 250mm models.
The original the 250mm WS, then the single coat W, the coated W, the NWS, finally the CMW.
There are actually 7 models if you count the original Fujinar 250mm...

Hi Bob,
I have seen those, but I am looking more for a squarish plate, those are a little to skinny for my needs.
Thanks though.....

Brian,
Thank you very much. But I think they no longer make that size plate. I looked all over their website and couldn't find it.
Thanks.

I started thinking about this after posting on another thread.
Does anyone know largest standard Arca Swiss or Arca-Swiss clone plate with a 3/8 inch thread? Not something funky for use with a...
