I am printing in the darkroom for about 5 years now and my skills are better and better every day. I learned to print even from digital files on gelatin silver with outstanding results. I use variety...
Great thread! I am new to the salt printing. Is there formula/recipe to get blackish tones in the image instead of the browns? Thanks!
So, Zz medical is offering free shipping now on all x-ray film. Is this the beginning of the end for x-ray film?
I thought about it too. Once started with LF I can't picture my life without table saw and a router. Good to know that I am not alone! Now I need to explain my rationale to my wife!
No, no lenses included :-(, just an original negative carrier. It comes with original heavy metal 40x44 stand/table. Seems if I scrap the table, I could get my money back. Haha.
Thanks, I'd appreciate the copy of the manual. The guy wants like $550 for it plus it is total of 5-6 hour drive. Just want to make sure it's worth the investment and hard work. This one comes with...

I am about to start in 4x5 for the first time (planning to print from the negatives in the darkroom). Is it possible to produce decent quality large prints by printing from negatives on x-ray film...
The question is not about application of x-ray film in medicine or in diagnostic applications. What i want to know is if i took two exposures of the same subject under same conditions, one with...
Hank you guys for your replys. Great ideas here. Will try milk crate/pillow combo until will get a case made. Thanks again!
Mike, thanks for your reply. And you never had a problem with the broken ground glass transporting your Grover like that? I would just hate to get to location and find GG shattered in pieces..
I am looking for carry case for either Cambo 8x10 or B&J Grover 8x10. I don't want to dissasemble cameras when get to location, just take out of a case and attach to a tripod. Does anyone have a...
