Yes, It's amazing work. The production is that BIG that he has a director of photography and a camera operator. Some images are composites of 5 or 6 negs, retouched together.
Here's a great link...
I love Crewdsons work, wish I had of seen the program!
Sorry, should have elaborated. I love Type 59 for it's muted palette and reciprocity characterised colour shifts (doesn't need to be because of reciprocity though), it's medium to low contrast and...
I'm truly gutted to loose a good friend, Polaroid. It's very much a large part of what I do.
Is there a 5x4 neg film that gives a similar look and feel to polaroid? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
This looks hot, I want one.
No it can't be kept at all. Which is why I think you should give it ALL to me. :)
Don't freeze the film, just refrigerate it. It lasts years past it's expiry date. I throw away the outer box for...
Thanks Domenico!
Truly breathtaking, I could look at this for hours.
For contact Prints I'm sure it is do-able. Just make sure you hold the flash at the same distance, or put it down somewhere and bounce it. Find out the ISO of the paper from the brands website of...
I think that's why 59 and 809 have been slashed but 669 remains. It's purely the passport photo market apparently.
Whoop-de-bloody-doo.
I've heard that 55 will remain for some time. But who knows, it probably means 6 months to a year at the rate it's going.
I really think this is a real tragedy. Someone buys the name to flood the...

59, 79 and 809 have been discontinued. 664, 54, 804, 51, 53, and 56 are next. Film boxes with the dreaded yellow discontinued stickers are turning up.
I feel ill. Personally I think it's criminal....
W-O-W This is hot. Can I asked how you calculated exposure with reciprocity?
 Oh....My....God....
lol.
Aero Ektars are great! Although people always think I'm being spiritual when I speak of my third eye.
I remember back in my assisting days I went on a 5 day shoot with my boss, a very experienced (40 year career) photographer and the light meter stopped working on the very first day of the first...
Ah right. of corse. OK. I was really wanting to add the back to the camera so I can use a cambo reflex hood. I can get a good cambo revolving back and reflex-hood dirt cheap hence the question.
...
I've heard of A Cambo SC back working fine on the back of a Graflex. Has anyone fixed a Cambo revolving back on a Graflex Crown? Would there be any reason why it wouldn't work?
ta much
I've found just what you're looking for.

It's Paolo Roversi shooting on a deardorff with what looks like a Sinar Hood on it.
Hi, does anyone know of a reflex finder that can be mounted to a 4x5 graflex? I have a Crown Graphic with a Graflok. I've found a cheap linhof finder...does anyone know if it can be modified to...
templates are naff generally. There meant to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
Dreamweaver is great. You really don't need to know any HTML to jump into it. I didn't even use a tutorial or...
Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1. Folds completely flat to a couple centemeters.
If that's their thing then so be it. It really doesn't matter what others do. Do what is right for you.
I also am fed up with the photographic press. I don't buy much of it anymore.
Articles are usually driven by the advertisers. And i'm so sick of fence-sitting camera reviews. It's another problem...
Yes & No. At the end of the day though the least important thing in photography is the camera. The most important thing with an image is the image. The message. That's what ultimately makes a photo...
But why should experiementation ever be considered a hinderence? Sure there come a point where hunting for gear overtakes the need to take pictures, or becomes an excuse to busy yourself not to take...
I have a dirty confession to make.
i spend hours, days, too many months of my life scouring the pages of ebay looking for old polaroid cameras, shitty old lenses and cheap film.
I think it...
No. You loose.
WOW...Beautiful portrait.
Dean, it looks great! I'll be watching this one for sure.
Assuming you want to photograph them in the studio...
You have to make it short & sweet. And be prepared that you're rarely going to achieve success in the first line of conversation. A smile and...
I was really sad to read you sold that lens. Firstly because I really think you had something extrodinary happenning there. Every shot I saw of it that you'd taken really took my breath away. And...
Depends on what work you are doing.
For me - Polaroid. The coupled rangefinder is the selling point for me. And Parralax correction. iI'm guessing it's a lot quicker to work with and you use less...
This is so on the money and very well put.
This is very nice. She has a very apt name as well!
I'm working on something similar at the moment. The backend of it is highly complex and hair rippingly frustrating! So very gutted to find out...
Hmmmm...but do you buy that? Seems like the old "bought it off some guy on the street" answer to me.
Either way, poor girl.
