Re: film from US to UK, xray damage?

Hi, I've bought a fair bit of film internationally through ebay. It's usually come through the normal post to me in the UK and I've never had a problem.

Re: Gregory Crewdson on CBS Sunday Morning

Yes, It's amazing work. The production is that BIG that he has a director of photography and a camera operator. Some images are composites of 5 or 6 negs, retouched together.

    Here's a great link...

Sorry, should have elaborated. I love Type 59 for it's muted palette and reciprocity characterised colour shifts (doesn't need to be because of reciprocity though), it's medium to low contrast and...

    the show MUST go on

I'm truly gutted to loose a good friend, Polaroid. It's very much a large part of what I do.

Is there a 5x4 neg film that gives a similar look and feel to polaroid? Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

  7. Re: Has anybody noticed lack of Polaroid materials?

No it can't be kept at all. Which is why I think you should give it ALL to me. :)

Don't freeze the film, just refrigerate it. It lasts years past it's expiry date. I throw away the outer box for...

  11. Re: Has anybody noticed lack of Polaroid materials?

I think that's why 59 and 809 have been slashed but 669 remains. It's purely the passport photo market apparently.

    Whoop-de-bloody-doo.
  12. Re: Has anybody noticed lack of Polaroid materials?

I've heard that 55 will remain for some time. But who knows, it probably means 6 months to a year at the rate it's going.

I really think this is a real tragedy. Someone buys the name to flood the...

59, 79 and 809 have been discontinued. 664, 54, 804, 51, 53, and 56 are next. Film boxes with the dreaded yellow discontinued stickers are turning up.

I feel ill. Personally I think it's criminal....

I've heard of A Cambo SC back working fine on the back of a Graflex. Has anyone fixed a Cambo revolving back on a Graflex Crown? Would there be any reason why it wouldn't work?
