a) I am in New Zealand.
b) I am not inserting the holders from the wrong side.
c) They are new Toyo holders which I do not think are warped, but I will check them and the camera back with a...
After working with a Toyo 45AII for a number of years I finally decided it was time to move to 8x10 and subsequently purchased a Wista 8x10 on Ebay.
Unfortunately (and this is new to me as a full...
Frank made a thread suggesting those concerned might want to send an email while the issue's current. I spent fives minutes typing one, sent it and they replied. I posted it to give Frank's thread...
Obviously everybody's gonna get the press-release-reply. At least a thought out letter might make it to a meeting. Most companies do care about what their customers think.
As far as 'hot air'...
Would be great if a couple of hundred people on here sent them an email and let Kodak know :) I just sent them this.

The discontinuation of Portra 400nc in 8x10 is a HUGE blow to...
When did Kodak discontinue Portra 400nc in 8x10? ISO 400 makes more sense for 8x10 than it does 4x5, to me it's certainly more essential.
That's pretty upsetting news =\
Thanks for the replies. I'll keep experimenting. :)

I bought an Sekonic L-398A to use with my new 4x5 camera. My previous experience being medium format and digital with built in meters.
The incident meter works as I'd expect indoors or outside in...
Bump.. Any news on this?
After a bump to the locked front standard the left knob for front rise/fall has broken. Instead of forward/counter-clockwise motion tightening the knob to lock, it now simply unscrews until it comes...
Thanks for the replies so far.
Anybody using the C100? Lesser weight is appealing but there's almost no information about it on the internet.
I'm looking for a tripod for my Toyo 45AII (6lbs). Would a Ries C100 be fine or am I better with the J100? The cost and weight of the C100 are appealing.
Thought on the C100 itself, and how it...
Thanks Oren. :)
Too bad Phillips don't have a proper website.
I'd appreciate if somebody could identify the camera Joel Sternfeld is using at 1:00 in this video.
