Re: Sinar F2 Too Heavy For Field Work

I used to borrow a Sinar F2 in college for field work and had the same complaint about the weight and bulk. My Sinar was in the hard sided suitcase with modular foam padding.

    After college I...

    Re: Sinar P, P2, X

    Bob,

Would you be able to send pictures?

Do you have an idea of where I could get the refurb parts you speak of?

    Re: Sinar P, P2, X

    Bob,

I might be interested, do you have a price in mind?

    What would be included?

    Sinar P, P2, X

Looking to possibly purchase a Sinar camera for field use, mostly landscape and architecture work.

I've done some research and can't seem to come up with a side by side comparison of the three...

    Re: Southeast New England

    Drew,

I guess "Metrowest" would be the more appropriate location for where I live and work.

I hope the weather turns soon, the wind isn't playing nice with my 4x5...

Do we have a head count...

    Re: Southeast New England

    Drew,

I'm in Central Mass and would be interested in meeting up in the spring.
Hope we can get more interest in this meet up.

As a side note, I work for Lynne Damianos and your co-chair on the...

    Re: Manfrotto 400, 405, 410 geared heads

I have both the 405 and 410 heads.

For your purpose I would go with the 405, buy it once and be done with it.
I've had mine for 5 years with no problems. I use the smaller 410 for 35mm DSLR work...
  9. Re: That pile of photo mags in the corner...?

My local library has a magazine swap cart that you can add and take from as you wish. A great way to share with other photographers and extend the life cycle of the printed materials beyond 1 reader....

  11. Re: New ThinkTank 4x5 belt bags - Please express interest

I would be interested in a few of these, I like how they open outward and aren't too far away from the body. I've tried using beltpacks before with a backpack and I just hike up the beltpack above...

Re: Emerging Student Majoring in Photography

Frank - I agree the market outlook right now is bleak but it can be done if you put your mind to it. I graduated in 2007 with a BA in Photography from a state college. The day I left school I had...

Re: View Camera Magazine, Special Edition

Nice to see an extended body of work in print form without a long interview about what the unpublished images might mean.

    Bruce,

Any news yet on the new date for the workshop?

Unfortunately, I have a conflict for the Ice and Snow workshop, otherwise I'd be there.

Hope to see you and Richard again soon.

I've installed my new piezography K7 ink set in my Epson 7600 and I haven't been able to get rid of the yellow and magenta color staining in the highlights.

I've tried the following to remedy the...

    Epson 7600 cartridge jam

I purchased an Epson 7600 recently and just got around to changing my first cartridge.
The printer came loaded with a partially used ink set.
I have used other Epson printers in the past (4800,...
