Nice one... I'll get the chemicals needed. Thanks!
I though I might have a go with potassium metabisulfite (which is the chemical I have) and didn't work. Everything turned black...I'll post the results when I buy the right chemicals ;)
That's great!
I'm very curious about this process, specialy bacause it uses very few chemicals and as you've mentioned, easily to find.
Is there anything I have to look while developing? I mean......
Taking the "View" camera name to a new level... I should try that one day as well:D

Hi!
I bought a few packs of dry plates and I want to experiment with them. They're very old and for sure I'll have to compensate in order to get something recorded.
My question is, how do I know...
If you have a normal scanner you can still scan the neg and use the "invert" option on photoshop.
I have a Kodak quick load that came for free when I bought my Toyo years ago and never used... I don't even know if the film exists to be honest.
You should have no fear of using the darkslides,...
I think it would be fun to play with them... most of the expired films I processed didn't came out well, few did... but I tried anyway, it adds a bit of challenge ;)
I'd love to trade... but...
If you're thinking of getting rid of them, I'd buy them depending on the price...:)
I fiinally had a chance to use the Ilford Positive paper. I loaded 3 dark slides and did a few shots around my flat to test.

Hi Neil, I'd love to see some results you have with your lens...
I'm still waiting for the film(adox 25) get back in stock in my local supplier before I start shooting with the 4x5.
A couple of pictures taken with a Magic Lantern Lens I bought recently. The lens is provisional in a cardborad mounted in my Toyo, before I try with the 4x5 I though it would be less expensive to...

Thanks guys... I'll consider all the suggestions.
Jay, you're right... It's a Margic lnatern lens with no stops and more or less F4.5 aperture. The reason I wanted to pull is because at the moment...
Hi,
I'm intending to pull a Delta 4x5 100 ISO to 50 ISO (or even 25 if it's possible) to be able to use my Magic Lantern lens.
I normaly process with Rodinal 1:100 solution for 1 hour stand...
Thanks guys... !
goamules... I made a lens panel with some thick cardborad to test before and I could see on the glass of my camera the image distorted on the edges, more or less like an "Holga"...
Hi,
I just got hold of a Magic Lantern lens for a very good price and in great condition, the lens has no makers so the chances that it's a Petzval is probably zero.
I'm planning to use on my...
Thanks all you guys for the advices...
Pete, all have a walk around Portobello sometime, that might be expensive but I'll try...
Thanks Robert, I can see that the best lens for the job are the ones from Magic Lanterns, correct ? What would be the standard lens diameter for a full plate camera ? Some people don't know what...

I can't find the edit button to change but you're right, this is obvioulsy not a 4x5 camera (otherwise the negative would fit ! :p )
When I first bought my Victorian 4x5 I was hoping to try the collodion process which I love, unfortunately I haven't got space for it at the moment so I had to find a way of trying the camera with a...
