i'm using the 3.25"x4.25" on a 5x4 with the polaroid 405 holder, the quality is good, but the exposure lattitude is extremely narrow (but i presume thats the same on the 5x4 film).

i use the wollensak 90mm f/6.8 i got from sandy ritz, cost $100 really light and very good optics, came mounted on the board for my camera and all (tho that was coincidence)

okay before anyone says it i am well away that these lens are viewed as noting above a paperweight but i got it free and thought i'd see what it coud do.

as far as i remember those shots were done with ~52 inches of nd filters and lasted over a year in some cases

You cant destroy something that unique. its a crime. i'd take it off yu but the shipping to ireland might be a bit hefty :-)

a New Tunnel in Dublin that runs from the city centre to the port and is supposed to ease traffic, in typical irish fashion..... it made it worse, but it does look pretty at night, i'll hopefully be...

personally i "see" better in b+w, if i'm playing computer games i'll ofter turn off the saturation on my screen. i think colour can often be a distraction. also the control and aesthetic.

try a wollensak raptar, 90mm, they go for about $100-150 i got one in really good nick great for landscapes

they're amazing , what film/dev do you use to get that old school feel

i was thinking of splitting a 5x4" darkslide in 2 so i can expose two panoramic shots onto one sheet, will the edge of the darkslide create a sharp edge on the neg????

yeah i had a blonde moment and forgot to tape up the screw holes after i removed the solenoid, i put the screws back in and taped them into place,

i just bought a crown graphic and for some reason when i shoot the right half of the focusing rails keeps creeping into the frame, but its not actually in the frame, it looks more like a double...

hey i'm looking to sync a modern metz flash (i think a cl 41) to a crown grapic with the ektar 127mm lens, i cant see a modern flash sync only the two pins. does anyone know of a way to connect them...
