Please tell me they're still active.
I finally got a Linhof and a few lenses.
I sort of managed to make my 550 back fit on my Razzle.
You have to remove the springs and reverse the nuts.
In a perfect world I'd like either a modern 110B/900 that can fold with a 135mm f3.5 Xenotar OR a Technika with a Koni Omega style or Mamiya Universal style rangefinder.
But my modded 900 and...
A trick I picked up from using my Super Graphic is to rest the camera on a shoulder when shooting.
I've been able to hold it steady for 1/4 second or so, but I don't mind a little motion blur.
...
Any news of your camera?
I'm going to ignore any discussions of rival camera crafters. Ash handled that well in any case.
I got my Blue 900 yesterday and it is a pleasure to use so far.
It's quick to focus and the lens...
If you could find some way to get back tilts that would be cool also.
Perhaps it could be done with 4 lockable, independant posts?
Or even like some sort of mutated 'LensBaby' with some sort of...
Well, I'd like to see an integrated viewfinder/rangefinder, but the only cameras that seems to be capable of that are converted polaroids.
I'd love to see a modern Polaroid 110B or 900 that could...
Great News!
Dean, Please note my shipping address is different from my home address in case you don't already know.
I hope this message is in time.
I've forwarded it via email.
Was episode 19 the last one?
Thank goodness for the Australian Slang Dictionary! I thought I had done something wrong for a bit.

:D
I'm not sure that this is helpful, but I salvaged a 135mm f3.8 Xenar out of a busted Technika III.
It folded up fine with the Xenar, which I think is bigger than an f5.6 Symmar.
If you send me...
Hmm, Now I'm thinking that I need a 110B redone for my 120mm Symmar in the future.
Maybe in yellow and black velvet like a bumble bee?
Perfect!
:D
I hope it's a good surprise!
:D
Great news!
Now that's blue!
:D
Hi Dean,
I'll take the louder blue please
:)
Now if you'll excuse me I have some grafmatics to maintain.
The Pink Cadillac was for sale?
Doh, If I'd known that I'd have bought it.
Well, It looks like I need to take measurements of this 120 Symmar-S I have so that I can possibly get a Blue Cookie...
Wow, that is looking very sharp!
545,545i,545Pro: Polaroid 4x5 sheet films

No worries, Good things are worth waiting for
:)
Thanks for all the suggestions.
fwiw, I'm the kind of guy that likes to buy things that last a lifetime, hopefully more.
Gah!
Soon, my pretty...
I'm looking for some good digital calipers to take some measurements of some of my gear.
Any info or suggestions are welcome.
These folks here have been great to me (still a newbie myself)
Welcome.
Arg, why do you tempt me like this?
I was just looking at 180mm lenses for my other 4x5...
What would be a good material to make a flash bulb guard?
I don't know which transparent plastics shatter and which just distort..
Would the material in plastic soda bottles or milk jugs be...
I think I'll schedule a day off for when mine arrives..
I feel cheated that I will most likely never get to 'rob the pack'...
I'm just curious and couldn't find anything via a web search.
So, exactly how did film packs work?
For some reason I got it into my head that they resembled polaroid film packs, but I can't...
Don't forget about my camera, Dean :D
I'm excited too!
I was wondering the physical dimensions of the 150 f2.8 Xenotar?
What size lens board would be needed to accomodate it?
What is the diameter of the rear element?
Any info appreciated.
I think you have a good point.
I guess I'm just bitter that I can't buy a new Super Speed Graphic Mk2 with parallax adjusting viewfinder LOL
With a Grafmatic 2007 of course...
:)
I cringe whenever I see someone remove a perfectly good rangefinder from a functioning press camera.
It feels like someone amputating a finger to make their gloves fit better.
It'd be fine if...
If you need parts I have an older Tech III with a bad front standard, but good bellows that I'd be willing to give up.
Let me know if that's useful to you.
Super Graphic w 135 Xenotar or Planar, a small monopod or tripod and 4-5 grafmatics fits into a medium courier bag with space to spare for a small 35mm camera.
I really like my 135 f3.5 Planar and my 135 f3.5 Xenotar on my Super Graphic.
I can't really use much in way of movements though image circle is tight, but they are great for what I use them for.
For 2000UKP you could buy an 8x10 Sinar (used) and a good 300mm lens and all the accessories you need.
Enlarge all you want without worries and better dynamic range than any near future digital...
