3 weeks? I've been waiting months. Ugh. I need to call again. Emails aren't working. They have\had my original 1/4-20 and the new 3/8 camera screw with the bad brass nut. Same issue, too small to...

The Luland LD115 does have integral panning as previously mentioned and fit great on my Gitzo 3533LS, but be aware that it is designed to only use Luland-made QR plates. While the Luland plates will...

As Vaughn mentioned, wall space is at a premium and the staff like to rotate work regularly. Sure, there is a healthy back stock of SEPs on the floor and upstairs, but there is at any...
Despite the above comment, check out the videos that Picker made 20 years ago, now on DVD. Probably cheaper on Calumet's eBay Outlet store....

Sadly, the FOP shutdown in 2001/2002. Poor management.

TAAG had a 35mm slide scanner (Nikon Coolscan 4000?) for workshop use...unless I borrowed it from Charlie Cramer. I forget. They must have newer equipment by now.
Say Hello to Kate D and Carol M...
That's when you realize that he cares about what he's doing and is willing to give honest feedback.
I had a somewhat similar experience with Ray. LOL
Damn, I wish I was in the States to attend...
Yep, that's him...I'm happy he finally has a website up!

Click on the Guide File Workflow. Rich still uses this workflow...
Slightly OT, but it sounds like some of you guys are working with large files in PS, when you really don't need to. I learned this trick from my friend Rich back in 2000 or so...

I have the original Acratech on my old aluminum Gitzo and it's very strong with the Lotus 4x5. It's very fast to operate and is super light.
But it wouldn't be a good choice for a heavy 8x10 if...
I have a Zone VI 8x10 mounted on a massive Studioball with a stock Arca plate (single 3/8 screw) on a Ries J100-2. Rock solid as that head can hold a ton of weight, but I would feel even better...
I'd think that "Maroon Bells" would look spectacular in 30x40. Hmm, but I do like the "Yosemite Valley, Thunderstorm." I always preferred that one and the vertical to the current SEP image.

My friend Sara Bateman just released TAAGs 2009 schedule, so I thought I would post it here for those interested.

I used Gorilla Racks in my tiny studio in LA. It worked just fine. They are sturdy and easy to setup and tear down. Home Depot, Orchard Supply, etc...will have them.

Well, for 20-25 years, Phyllis Donohue was pretty meticulous about spotting AA's fine prints. I'd venture to say that most of the AA prints you would see these days were spotting by her.

Will,
Are you still working that low-stress air traffic controller job?

Yes that's it.
Alan prints his images WITH a white border, similar to how someone would leave a white border on their digital prints.
