Bracken and gorse, I think? I'd have guessed England (or at least UK) though of course anywhere on similar European chalk would be similar.

No, Tilburg.
I think his question wasn't about the bicycles - although I was confused for a second as well! Very recognizable as a Dutch photograph, that one
Btw, that means at least 3 LFP members are stomping these grounds. Feel free to drop by for coffee if you want.
Just shot a first set of tests to try out my restored ICA Tropica and to try some different ground glass holders. Here's one of the first shots and some info:
ICA Tropica 10x15 (using little rear tilt)
Film: Fomapan 100iso (1 sec @ f 18 in low evening light)
Developer: HC-110 (delution H, 1:63 for 10min @ 24C)
Developed in an old Paterson 35 model II Tank which I altered so it can take larger films. Well unfortunately after development some moisture stayed behind on the film :-(
Many thanks to fellow member xipho68 who kindly provided the film for the tests.
Scanning the film:
I don't have a film scanner that can take these large format films. Therefore I used an old canon flat bed scanner with my ipad as a back lighting.

Thank you, Richard, much appreciated.
In my - little - experience what it needs to get a good combination of Fomapan and HC-110 is:
1. use developer and stop bath (for which I only use water) at about the same temp
2. develop @ relatively high temp of 24 or 25C / 75 or 78F
3. do not agitate much; better take a longer developing time of 10 or 11 min
4. use a strong dilution
This all might help preventing blown out highlights and reducing grain.
Like this one also Ron - some drying marks on the back of the chair?
Cheers,
Renato
