My camera is also missing a ground Jack. Where can I look for a replacement? Thanks!

Mine is missing as well - it's three pieces at least that are missing- the foot/rod that jacks the rear, the lever you push to raise/lower it, and a spring. It wouldn't be too hard to improvise, but you'd need access to a way to cast iron or know someone with metalworking skills to machine you the parts you need. Otherwise you'd have to find another stand that has the parts you want to scavenge off of- these have been out of production so long I doubt there's any factory spares sitting around anywhere.

How do you make sure your camera does not move without the ground Jack after you finish focusing?

Seems a lot of the third wheel locks broke, when moving by a careless person

    I would make something better

No I am not designing and making any until I have one!

Never met anything I could not improve

    I just don't kick it

The whole thing is sufficiently hefty that it takes a fair amount of effort to move the camera. I've not had it be a problem before.

These studio cameras were work horses in old days. They might have been “abused”!

Not sure a caster floor lock or a brake would work for these studio cameras since it is impossible to find an original one.
