Coco Chanel
Coco Chanel
A couple of shots from my last Missouri trip. Both with an Olympus OM1, but I didn't keep track of the lenses I used. Film was APX100.
Scott, if I recall correctly, you posted that you exclusively use digital & 35mm now. Every time I get a comment derrogatory to 35, your work, Tony Lockerbie's are what I point to. If that doesn't do it, Bresson, Kertez, etc. I hope young students are wearing down a path to your door, willing to wash the car, sharpen the pencils, make the coffee - to get to see you work film. Its really superb.
Some of my younger photo-enthusiasts had never seen one before, so I had to snap a stack of photos of the ol' Beseler 45.
I appreciate it HiHo. I do shoot wet plate collodion in LF. However, I have been lately staying with my 5D and super tak 50mm. I just got back from Oahu after a week of being there and that's all I shot....Oh, nah, no students busting down my doors ;-)
Here are some trees from Hawaii
Scott, those are just painful, they're so good.
Super Tak (Pentax super takumar?) THESE shots are 35mm? Ohh. My head hurts!
Those are stunning Scott!

Scott, do you ever talk about/divulge your processing? Do you mind questions?
This is a bit weird. I looked up the super tak, confirmed it likely refers to the pentax 50. The weird part is that I have an old Honeywell Spotmatic Pentax - so I had to go look at the lens. Yup. 1.4 Its absolutely clear I need to put a roll through that keepsake. It was an Aunt's camera that stunned me as a child - with how cool it looked. That's what got me interested in photography originally. If that lense is all that's said about it - it would be worth buying a camera that mounted it if this old honeywell Pentax isn't healthy. Very weird. Other people make finds like that (in their closet no less)- not me.
One more that is worth sharing.
