I'm not sorry to say that these faux sepia images are made in uninteresting light, unimaginative poses, almost passport quality: a formula not interesting.

Also, could you at least identify which images you are critiquing? None of the recent images (Ed's & Marcin's) look in the least passport-like (unless you know of a country using nude poses for passports), and I believe all of Ed's are wet-plate, not "false sepia," so I'm not sure which photographs you have in mind.

I am enjoying your posts. Welcome to the forum, I believe you are new. I am assuming you are layering elements in Photoshop for this look. Is that correct?

You seem to say that with a certain degree of pride. So, let's follow through to the apparently intended implication: as I have been here. We can all make ass-ish remarks at times. The best of us asses actually apologize for our ass-ish remarks, and redeem ourselves. Having failed yet to redeem yourself, you're still an ass in my book.

I am enjoying your posts. Welcome to the forum, I believe you are new. I am assuming you are layering elements in Photoshop for this look. Is that correct?

Yes, it is photoshop postproduction but all elements (model & background & strips) were photographed using 4x5 Plaubel. I have not any problems using digital postproduction in some of my works. I have not any problems using mixed media techniques (crayons,pencils,oils) to produce a final image (look at my post :"Large Format Photography and Mixed Media Techniques" in IMAGE SHARING section) This days I do mainly "pure" photography because of the lack of time. Using mixed media techniques take great amount of time, some of those images take much, much more time than painting an oil on canvas
( I know that, I've been doing it for years) I don't like shot nude this days, I dropped it 'cos I feel it too stressfull. For those that dislike the image, I can say that everyone has the right to have his own opinion, notwithstanding I find it a bit, bit jealous. Feel free to post your own nude images. If someone's claim that it looks like passport photo, I must admit that we have here in Poland this standard of passport photography. There must be one ear on the shot and breasts with nipples. Best regards!!!

I have been doing also something like this about 1998 (baryt paper, crayons, oils, pencils etc) no digital additives.

No, it was a joke. This beautiful young lady was a friend of friend of mine. She was planning to be a mommy, knowing that she (probably) will not have such superior body after the pregnancy was kin on a nude photography. Just to have a memory.

Fail! I was just about to write, it's natural behavior for us Poles that naighbours visit each other nude to borrow glass of sugar or tractor etc. You ruined all the story
