Thanks SergeiR, Zaitz!
Martin, when I first saw this photo of yours on Flickr, it caused me to find its location on Google Maps. I then used Satellite View, and I discovered a couple of farmhouses that are on top of the hill, about 55% across your photo.
The farmhouses look grand. I think they would be quite nice. One even has a swimming pool. I imagine I could scoop one of them up for just a few million euros...
@Sam: thanks! :-)
@J Hoff: Around here? http://maps.google.com/maps?q=48.447...=UTF8&t=m&z=15
I guess they would be even cheaper!
BTW, they have funny street names: "Dorf 11" is like "Village" with house number 11
Best,
This shot is from Providence Canyon, GA. Due to poor farming techniques, these canyons were artificially created. The landscape here looks nothing like the rest of GA, it's quite interesting. For some strange reason I lugged my 8x10 camera all over the park, but only took two shots. Here's the first, taken with my Kodak Century Universal, a 210mm Graphic Kowa lens (thanks Zach!), on Ilford HP5+. I think I shot it at f/64 and 1/30 or something like that:
