Brian, here’s one of my very few boats – you might have to squint to see it.
Okay, here’s a super-aggressive crop to help. ;^)
Looking forward to seeing more like yours that are a bit closer.

I'm planning a trip to Cape Cod next month. As I look over my list of places, I see I'll have ships, boats, and/or watercraft well covered.

Hi Brian.
Great shot, What lens did you use, looks fairly wide?
This is a shot from earlier in the year. home made ultra wide 4x5, 47mm XL.
Cheers Brian from OZ
As luck would have it, the SF Bay Area LF meetup group went to Mare Island Shipyard in Vallejo CA this past weekend, so you might see quite a few of those images making their way into this thread. I'll start:
The sail of the SSBN USS Vallejo and some of the ship building/disassembly equipment behind:
A ship being recycled. I was fiddling with trying to shoot through the fence, and then decided to stop down to f/64 and get the fence in the image and embrace that which was previously annoying me:
Another of the same soon-to-be-ex-ship, from further away, over the fence, in Infrared, and I haven't a clue why it looks weird. I don't know if all the mush was in exposure, development, or a little bit of each. IR is always entertaining:
