"I am a visual person. I just can’t see."
Good link. Just shows you how much bolloks they spout at workshops teaching you to see. Try thinking and imagining instead.

Thanks for the posting!
I am actually working on a TVI (teacher of the visually impaired) degree at the moment and then I intend to get my art therapist certification so I can work as an art therapist for the low vision. I think it will be a rewarding career as I step away from the camera "commercially."
I have already been in-touch with Pete and he has started a group, the Blind Photographers Guild which already has a few members. BTW, we do have a visually impaired LF photographer here on the forum. I became acquainted with his work through the print exchanges.
So if you are looking for inspiration, look to these photogs that make it a point to be creative and speak visually. Blindness is not what it use to be!
Kind regards,
Darr
Another one, working in LF, is John Dugdale.
There's lots of books on creativity. A lot of them are aimed at computer programmers, not artists.
I see that the majority of the photos on his site are paint-with-light style, while a few are made conventionally. I bet his Tai Chi helps out a lot.
Not all visual impairments are of the "blind" variety, either.
