I've been living off the original ink set and now the painful time has come to start replacing the cartridges.
Checking B&H and my local pro shop (Vistek in Toronto) all are around the $60 mark. Anyone come across a better price?

atlex.com and Amazon are usual suspects...
Amazon has been cheaper than B&H the last few times I ordered ink. If you have the free shipping plan it makes it especially nice...one thing, the Amazon listings are a bit screwed up and might not make it clear that the ink is for the 3800. Look at the comment section for more info and double-check the cartridge number...

I buy ink from Atlantic Exchange (Atlex). $50 a cartridge last time I bought, haven't checked recently. No tax outside Florida but there is a shipping charge.

Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you do criticize them you'll be
a mile away and you'll have their shoes.
The Epson Store occasionally has coupons where you can get a % off inks and/or free overnight shipping.
Have you looked at ConeColor? He has bulk inks, and replacement inks for your printer.
It's one thing to get the printer, but I personally don't want to buy anything with an Epson logo on it.
I've been getting my 2880 inks from Ant Online http://www.antonline.com . It looks like the 3880 inks are $41 to $51 in price. To find the 3880 inks, do a search for "Epson Inks" then, from the left, choose 2.71fl oz, and you'll see the 11 choices in 3880 cartridges.
