I was lucky to find your forum. Reading the pages brought back the joys of Photography I used to experience. Back in the late 1960's and most of the 1970's I worked as a catalog photographer in downtown Chicago.
My first photography job was at Kranston Studio at 22 West Hubbard in Chicago, I think it's a restaurant now. That's where I learned to use "view cameras" The most common camera we used were 8x10 Deardorf cameras. They had a three film backs 8x10, 5x7 and 4x5. We also had some specialty cameras there were several 11x14 camera and even a 14x20 camera! We had in house color processing and black & white labs.
I have to go now. I'll be spending more time on this forum later.
