Hank,
Ask Mike Castles in Dallas. He owns that camera. Sweet camera.
Isn't there an f/64 backpack listed in the For Sale area that holds an 8x10 camera? I thought I saw one recently.

I have 3 Photobackpacker backpacks. They are excellent.
RR810+f64 is like nothing on your back both are so light.
Yes, there was an f64 backpack. It now holds my Century Universal. Sorry. Bill
Second the recommendation for the Photobackpacker system. I use two of Bruce's setups, one for my 5x7 and one for the 8x10 and enjoy constantly reconfiguring them as I swap lenses from one camera to another. Very very versatile, comfortable, and quite light especially given how much gear they can carry.

I don't have a Ritter.
I have one for a Wehman 8x10 setup and the other for an Arca Swiss 4x5 system.
The camera cases are nice (although the Wehman does not need one) but I don't use the lens cases. I use a padded fly reel case from Cabelas (Orvis and Fishpond make them also). The Photobackpacker lens cases are nice but take up more room and the cost adds up for multiple lenses.
I do have a Ritter 8x10. I also have an F64 backpack. They go great together. NOTE: I acquired the F64 when I purchased a Zone VI 8x10 camera, so while it works great with the Ritter, I haven't compared it to other backpacks. YMMV
