Today I had the opportunity to view more of the excellent architectural photography done by Julius Shulman. It is included in an exhibition entitled "Birth of the Cool", currently at the Oakland Museum of California. There are a fair number of black and white gelatin silver prints as well as large color prints. His famous dusk shot of the Arts & Architecture Case Study House in the Hollywood Hills is included. This is a small sample of his work compared to the extensive exhibition of his work at the J. Paul Getty Museum several years. However, certainly worth a visit for those interested in architectural photography at its finest, and close enough to attend.
