Those Pulso wall-mounts are rare as hen's teeth, too. I snagged one earlier this year on the the big auction site for 31€ and then while overseas for a couple of weeks later I missed out on a lot containing 4 or 5 units! That would've been the perfect amount for my needs, and I haven't seen any since.

Using the Godox-Pulso adapters is a great idea though!

I once watched an assistant severly burn her hand, they were using a banquet camera ultra large. That scared me.
In my 20s an actor friend pestered me for a B22 to surprise his room mate. He put it in the light socket over the bathroom sink. The room mate flipped the light on very early in the morning and didn't speak for a week. I saw the light fixture and it blistered the paint on the wall.

A sad story. Beeg Bulbs rule!

New to me 3000J Broncolor Ringlight Olde Version AOK by Nokton48, on Flickr

I popped this new to me Big Broncolor Ringlight at1600J a few times, it's working perfectly. Love it and it's basically an on-camera fill light, adjustable angle, and up to 3000J in one pop. Beeg Flashtube safely covered. This unit has seen little use and was quite a bargain. Balloon Below camera left, Broncolor Hazy overhead 1600J. Nex 7 50mm Zeiss Touit. Foba DIMIL Sweep Table tempered glass covered with architectural Vellum.

Almost done converting the Elinchrom Mini Soft White Beauty Light, to Broncolor Pulso mount. Just need to dremel off the excess bolt from the aluminum "donut" I cut from stock on scroll saw. Drilled a few holes and ready to paint the interior center with High Temp Flat White Rustoleum. Switching out to the Silver Reflector, with central bolt and screw keeping it together at the proper distance, produces a perfect circle of light with beautiful soft falloff all around. Very useful to me and a good project, has taken a while.

The Elinchrom Mini Spot was new in the box never used; it includes a Broncolor Pulso Adapter, so I went for it. It works pretty well but tends to heat up quickly, modeling light quickly turned off so as not to overheat it.
