I'm happy to know you are using a Svedovsky 11x14. I had one for four years and used it with both film and paper. I made many direct positive prints using Harman DPP and negatives using Ilford MG RC paper. The Fuji XR-U X-ray film is an affordable option and I used it for negatives that I printed as cyanotypes.
