I don't shoot a lot of "big" landscapes much, generally shooting things that are just a yard/meter or three away.

I remember it was a bit of a balancing act. 4x5 Sinar Norma, 90mm F8 Norma Super Angulon, HP5 (not +) D76 1:1 dev, Yellow filter. 8x10 fiber print on silk surface paper (what I had a lot of back then) Dektol developer. Omega DII with Omegalite, 180mm black Rodagon
