    what I remember about the walnut tree and in the afternoon sun
    home made 4x5 camera/lens/book style paper negative holders
    7seconds
    kodak single weight paper developed in Sumatranol coffee developer with the lights on

    We went to Picchetti Ranch Preserve in Cupertino, CA, on the morning of the 4th of July. I guess we got there early, as there was only one other car in the parking lot, but when we left, people were hunting for spots.

    There's a pond that's now a puddle, here's an old, downed, tree near it:

    And my wife spotted some mushrooms, but after composing a bit, I eventually decided the cut end of the tree was more interesting:

    I remember it was a bit of a balancing act. 4x5 Sinar Norma, 90mm F8 Norma Super Angulon, HP5 (not +) D76 1:1 dev, Yellow filter. 8x10 fiber print on silk surface paper (what I had a lot of back then) Dektol developer. Omega DII with Omegalite, 180mm black Rodagon
