We went to Picchetti Ranch Preserve in Cupertino, CA, on the morning of the 4th of July. I guess we got there early, as there was only one other car in the parking lot, but when we left, people were hunting for spots.
There's a pond that's now a puddle, here's an old, downed, tree near it:
