I shot a lot of pictures of the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina on 4x5:

While various famous photographers shot excellent images in New Orleans, I went farther afield and followed the track of the hurricane from its first landfall in Florida through its landfall south of New Orleans and then over to the Mississippi coast. I know a number of folks on the forum also shot Katrina images.

With the 20th anniversary coming up in August, I am wondering about what to do with my images. One thought is to write a blog with descriptions of individual images. In some places, I went back later and shot images of the recovery or lack of recovery that I could also include. (I posted this same question at the 10th anniversary. External events limited what I would do then and the places I reached out to were not very interested. If you look back at the news for 31 August 2015, it was dominated by Hillary's emails and Trump's rise in the run up to the 2016 race. Not many mentions of Katrina. I doubt there will be any more interest today, given the current news cycle.)
