Pentax Spotmeter V Zone System 'sticker'

I couldn't find one of these so I made my own in illustrator because I sure wasn't paying $6 shipping for the $8 one on ebay. I'm sure the person who makes them is perfectly lovely but $14 for a sticker that can be sent with a stamp chafed me. These exist for the digital spotmeter but for some reason the V must be old enough now that the old links are all dead. Print this out, stick some nice packing tape on the top, cut it out. I held it with a pair of needle nose pliers and sprayed 3m super 77 on the back and then affixed it to the spotmeter dial. Make sure you have a number centered on the arrow at the bottom so you can position it correctly. Super 77 will let you slide it around for a bit before it cures so you can get it just right. An enterprising solution. Perhaps someone will take your lead an either sell an Illustrator file or simply a nicely printed one for $2+S&H (Total = $27.99).

That's why I shared it, no need for an AI file, it's already at the correct scale. Just print it out. Besides, if I share the AI file you'll all see how bad I am at illustrator.

My beloved Spotmeter V was stolen two years ago (long story), and I really miss it. I was gifted not long after with a much more sophisticated Sekonic Dual Spot meter that my aging brain just can’t figure out how to use. I miss the simple sweep of the Spotmeter’s V’s analog needle.
