I am working on recreating a 50-year-old computer that requires ortho lith film at least 18 inches long and 5 inches wide. It's completely two-toned (clear or black) - no mid-tones. Does anyone here know of any labs (perhaps including yourself) capable of producing contact negatives from a positive master? This would also include the contact exposure step. I thought my quest was over when I discovered the Arista Ortho Litho 3.0 film. It looks to be exactly the same film that was originally used 50 years ago. It never occurred to me that the only way to get it processed would be for me to build my own lab.
I find all the discussions about how to shoot and develop large format projects at home fascinating. I've used darkrooms and started my own 50 years ago. But I find myself in a different place now. This project already consumes all my time — I have none left to build a darkroom and produce these myself. I kinda wish I did. I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I'm in the US but would be open to working with someone offshore.
Thanks!
