Crystal Mill near Crested Butte Colorado. Shot on 4x5 E100 and scanned on Howtek HiResolve 8000. I quickly processed on tablet with PS. Really needs to be done on my main system, but still put up while we are moving in still.

Need to keep learning about scanning with the drum. There are so many ways to achieve a good result. Only scratched the surface.

As always there are lots of wonderful shots in this thread but this is really outstanding I think... obviously a great location (with 'good bones' ), but really well composed and executed.

And a beautiful, subdued colour palette.

Thank you. Just after the sun set to the left of frame. If I remember correctly, this is facing roughly north to northeast.

This was White Pocket Az. close to Utah. the Painted Desert east and south of here. This is north and West of Page AZ.
