Also known as "Walls of Text".
I don't feel bad about skipping over those walls anymore either.
One thing you can do to fix it is use a Text Spacing Bookmarklet.. just go to this page and drag the link to your bookmarks bar.. click on any page.
Double spacing is a waste of space. For us who still own and read books more significant than those of elementary school, it is inconvenient. It can be even worse on screens than on the pages of a book. I'm only 91 years old. Maybe in many more years I too will have to join those who prefer double spacing.
I'm just starting to have visual impairment so now looking at aids, like a big magnifier glass. On computer there are aids for visually imaired that seem quite effective. On browsers there is zoom, but that might require a decent sized display for best use. Windows offers accomodation tools.... which I have not explored but certainly intend to facilitate usage by visualy impaired users. Might be worth exploring...
There is a style selector in the vBulletin code, you can see it at the bottom of the forum pages. Unfortunately it seems the set available are just different colors. I wonder if there's a more accessible style option that could be brought in. That way people who want double space could have it. That would be the right way to handle the issue and it looks like it might be simple.
how about larger text tc? that can be done on your computer or tablet somewhere in the settings.

At 76 I suspect I am towards the older end of our member spectrum, and (with glasses) read books, magazines, and newspapers, none of which are double-spaced. If one’s eyes cannot read without double spacing, how can you see well enough to compose and focus on a ground glass? That said, on a computer screen we can enlarge print size as much as necessary. There is only one person who constantly double spaces, and I have never understood why.
