Tin Can
When I lived in St. Louis , some of the people I worked with were avid Indian artifact hunters. Any time we saw any dirt work being done in any part of the city,we would stop and hunt. they would amazingly find all kinds of points and tools. Another friend of mine rented the basement of a house in the"Soulard". One of the oldest parts of St. Louis, close to the river. The house was built on top of an Indian mound overlooking the river. The basement had a very crude wood cobblestone floor that looked like they had just taken logs and drove them in the ground . Early stuff.
