That shot looks like an antique Bryan. Nicely done. I've got 40 sheets of Velvia 50 left in 4x5 and then they're gone forever.

I have 118 sheets left. Also new stock does still pop up on ebay from Japan. Granted at silly prices, but if you're willing to cough up it's an option.

Provia and Ektrachrome are both very fine alternatives; actually better in some ways. Adapt or perish, as they say.

Thanks Alan. I'm not sure how much I had. Long time ago I used to buy up any well kept but expired or close to expired film at good prices. This batch has been in my freezer for a long time, as I was afraid to use it. I bought several boxes from a member who forgot to send it. Then I said hey where's the film?? he sent it without any other discussion and I happened to be on my way to a long vacation. The film proceeded to bake in my black mailbox for a week down in south GA in the summer. I wasn't sure it was okay so just never shot it until this sheet, finally, to test it. Luckily it seems OK.

I love it, Bryan! The composition and focus are captivating; very creative!
That is an interesting lens. You do well with it, IMO.
When we lived in the Atlanta area (1985-2000), we would visit Amicalola Falls on our way up to Blairsville and Cleveland.
    It is a nice area.

Thanks darr! I try to come by Amicalola at least once every couple weeks since I live only 20 min down the road. They tore down the old visitor's center and are about to open the newly constructed one, and also redid the entrance shed. Always very busy on the weekends but pleasantly empty on late afternoon weekdays when the days are long.
