I've just got a new process timer and can't wait to take it home for the darkroom. It's all red LED, liquid resistant plastic covered, stainless steel. It should fit right in in the darkroom.
This is some sort of commercial kitchen timer for multitasking. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256804749238159.html
Traditionally I used a simple lcd kitchen timer for darkroom developing timing that I have to stop and reset between steps with potentially wet hands. I use a combiplan tank, so I don't need darkness for developing.
I can program in 6 separate countdown clocks and start any of them by pressing the button on the right that goes with that clock.
step1, a time for prewash,, step 2 developer, step 3 rinse, step 4 fix, step 5 and 6 maybe unrelated timers for printing such as dektol and fixer?
It saves what I program in when unplugged.
