One of the screws in my Fujion 600 mm (that hold onto the cable release) has gone MIA. Does anyone know what size screw that is and where you can get it?
thanks
Michael

Michael,
You might try Precision Camera Works in Lakeway, Texas. I think this is near Austin. help@precisioncameraworks.com. *(847) 470-3350
They still work on Copal shutters.
If you have a way to figure out the diameter and the pitch, these should be easy to find on EBAY, etc.
I have lost once a tiny screw of my Rodenstock 150mm lens and my optician repaired it for free.
For some reason I Europe every optician must repair glasses for free and Rodenstock lenses are part of it.
Strange but practical :-)
I would love to know the specifics of these screws as well- lost one myself a while ago and have been unsuccessful in finding a replacement (at a reasonable price that is)
Maybe Micro Fasteners, if you know the thread size. Yeah, you'll probably have to buy a full pk or box; but that will likely cost less than a single screw sold as a dedicated camera part.
Thanks. I reached out to them but they weren't able to help me. The tech there went thru the extra screws he had but nothing fit.
It is probably a metric thread, but might not be — my 1973 Olympus Pen FT uses 0-80 screws. A good hobby shop will have 1-72, 0-80 and 00-90 screws (one brand is Hob-bits). For metric sizes 1mm and larger, something like this from Amazon might work (life-time supply ): “HanTof 800pcs M1/M1.2/M1.4/M1.6/M1.7 Nickel-Plated Steel Phillips Pan Head Very Small Machine Screws“, $13 with free Prime shipping (https://www.amazon.com/HanTof-800pcs...ps%2C94&sr=8-3).
