Hi there!
I purchased - meyer optik globica II camera. It has not arrived yet. It does not have film holder/cassete with it. Can anyone point out, is it a dedicated cassette or it uses some standard ( and if yes, which one ) ones?
TY !

Is that the older grey painted or newer mahogany version? And is that 13x18 or 18x24 variant? Nevertheless both of them (older and smaller for 100% as I have it as well) should have proprietary wooden double filmholders. It is a book type with metal plate septum and black plastic darkslides. I believe the mahogany has same filmholders and differs only in lacquer. These filmholders are originally meant for glass plates and for planfilm you need a metal sheath. And unfortunately they can not be replaced by any modern filmholders as outer dimension is different and the inserted filmholder is not lightproof.
thanks
It is the older, grey version, and that is all i know. I just found a sticky cheap (100 eur) add, and bought it ( still has not arrived ). I guess it is the 13x18 version, the woman selling it did not know a thing. Shortly i was using the same camera, for wet plates and that is why i need this one, yet, i guess i will have to wait to measure the holders myself

s.
YES
my question is
can I find some replacement, or other party products
do the Sinar/Linhof/any other holders fit or Globica uses specific ones-if someone has the experience
i have the large format Seagull ( 12x16.5 cm and 16.5x21cm ) but they are specific and have some slits from the sides, so, i am sure i can not use them, beside the fact that i do not know the distance in mm ( lens-plate)
thank you @bourvil
