Chamonix 410N3 Fp-4+
So this was my very first time shooting form the top of Jingshan park in Beijing, overlooking the forbidden city. I had gone there one of the previous days, but found out there was absolutely no way I could place a cumbersome tripod and large camera in between the crowds, however, I found out the park opens at 6:30 in the morning so I figured a sunrise shoot would be more sensible. Unfortunately, the sandstorm had just but passed and there was still lots of dust and haze in the air, so I decided to use the cut dark slide to make this into a panoramic by cropping out the sky altogether. I quite like the result on this sheet to Provia, but I think Velvia might have been the better choice, especially given the very low dynamic range of this scene.

I love my new 4x10 back in my Chamonix 45H-1.
And the challenge to compose in 1:2,5. It's so different than my usual 9x12.
Here is another try. A bit uninspiring subject perhaps, but I think the composition works fairly well.

Red filter a great choice there
